What is the Color Run?
The Color Run is the VPO’s spring fundraiser event to benefit Discovery Elementary School.
The Color Run itself is a non-competitive, fun race where volunteers are stationed around a course and get to throw colored powder on Discovery students as they run by. It is a high-energy, memorable event where we promote inclusivity, fitness, and fun.
We encourage the students to set up a fundraising page and invite business sponsors to help us raise money to meet our goal. This community fundraising opportunity form the majority of Discovery VPO's operating budget and helps to create a joyful, *VIBRANT* school community now and in the future!

Our 2026 Color Run goal: $20,000
We raised: $22,826! Every Discovery student received a free 2026 Color Run shirt and sunglasses to wear the day of the event! See the awesome design on the right and how we tied in our school-wide book, The Wild Robot!
