Discovery Elementary has a fun and energetic school culture, and our volunteer parents are a big part of this.  The Volunteer Parent Organization (VPO) is a large group of dedicated parents, staff, and grandparents that meet regularly to plan engaging activities for the Explorer community.  All parents are automatically members of the VPO and there is no membership fee.  Quarterly VPO meetings take place in the evening and childcare/pizza is provided.  Please attend all meetings if possible and let your voice be heard.  We are excited to meet you!

Starting in 2025, VPO communications are going digital for the vast majority of our flyers.  VPO activities will be posted in the weekly Discovery ParentSquare newsletter, which all parents receive, as well as on the Discovery VPO Facebook group page.  Carefully read each ParentSquare email newsletter and mark your calendar to join us at VPO meetings and events.
